This information may include your name, email address, telephone number, extension, fax number, country, general interests, preferred language, password, billing address, company, industry, job function, information related to the invoice, system, or component that your request relates to, order number, reference number, serial number, support requests, customer information (including your company/organization, CPU Sales customer number, contact name, email address, and telephone number, and ship to address), information related to product returns (including tracking number, serial number, invoice/PO number, part number/item code, quantity, invoice date, username, password, and description of your problem/reason for return), ticket number, friends’ names and email addresses, and the contents of any messages you send to us or files you choose to upload.
• Information that you provide when you log into, register to access, or use the Website. This information may include your email address, password, signature, company/organization, website URL, industry, name, date of birth, job function, title, department, address, telephone number, extension, fax number, preferred language, billing address, information related to the nature of your purchases, order history, configuration history, emailed quotes, invoices in warranty, returns, tax exemption certificate, company registration details (including registered name, country, address, registration number, type of company, date established, website, VAT number, currency for purchases, and current contact at CPU Sales), trading company details (including trading name, country, invoice address, delivery address, and telephone number), and contact details (including title, name, position, email address, and telephone number).

This information may include your name, company, billing address, shipping address, payment information (including credit cardholder name, card number, expiration date, CVV, issuer telephone, and purchase order number), reference code/name, and your comments, questions, instructions, and requests.
• Information that you provide when you submit a credit or financing application. This information may include your amount requested, equipment category, equipment description, name, telephone number, email address, business name, trading name, address, invoice/statement address, registered office, details of parent company (if subsidiary), date established, legal structure, annual revenue, time in business, taxpayer identification number, signature, company registration number, details of suppliers with whom you regularly trade (including a name, address, telephone number, and contact for each), financial director, accounts year end, bank name and address, sort code, account number, estimated credit required per month, accounts department email address, position, and signature, corporate profile (including fed ID, D&B number, and stock symbol), bank/trade reference (including checking, savings, and loan account number, and contact name, telephone number, and email address), trade references (including name, terms, address, and telephone number and the contents of any reference files you upload), credit request (including account terms requested), and tax exemption certificates.
• Information that you provide when you apply for employment with us. This information may include your name, email address, address, signature, cell and home telephone number, resume, cover letter, and information related to your authorization to work in the United States, race, gender, veteran status, and disabilities, whether you are 18 years or age or older, desired compensation, available start date, how you heard about us, employment history (including whether you are currently employed, employer name, city, and state, title, start and end date, reason for leaving and explanation, direct supervisor, company telephone number (and whether we may call), and responsibilities and duties), education/training (including highest level of education completed, ...

• To a buyer or other successor in the event of a merger, divestiture, restructuring, reorganization, dissolution, or other sale or transfer of some or all of CPU Sales’s, its affiliates’ or its subsidiaries’ assets, whether as a going concern or as part of bankruptcy, liquidation, or similar proceeding, in which personal information held by CPU Sales about the Website users is among the assets transferred.

Promotional Offers from CPU Sales

If you do not wish to have your e-mail address or contact information used by CPU Sales to promote our products or services, you can opt-out by clicking the “unsubscribe” link in the applicable communication, or by sending us an e-mail stating your request to info@cpusales.com. Please note that, even if you unsubscribe from certain email correspondences, we may still need to email you with information relating to important transactional or administrative information.

Accessing and Correcting Your Information

You may log into your account or send us an email at info@cpusales.com to request access to, correct, or delete any personal information that you have provided to us. We cannot delete your personal information except by also deleting your account. We may not accommodate a request to change information if we believe the change would violate any law or legal requirement or cause the information to be incorrect.

International Data Transfers

When you use the Website and provide information through the Website, we may transfer your information to a destination outside your jurisdiction, including to the United States. The United States has not received a finding of “adequacy” from the European Union under Article 45 of the GDPR (or other analogous international data protection regulations, such as the United Kingdom’s (“UK”) GDPR). CPU Sales relies on the safeguards set forth in Article 46 of the GDPR or derogations for specific situations set forth in Article 49 of the GDPR (or other analogous data transfer mechanisms) in order to transfer personal information across international borders.

Your International Rights

To the extent required by law, CPU Sales provides you with:

Nevada residents who wish to exercise their sale opt-out rights under Nevada Revised Statutes Chapter 603A may submit a request to: info@cpusales.com. However, please note that we do not currently sell data triggering that statute’s opt-out requirements.

Data Security and Retention

We have implemented measures designed to secure your personal information from accidental loss and from unauthorized access, use, alteration, and disclosure.

Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we do our best to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee the security of your personal information transmitted to or through the Website. Any transmission of personal information is at your own risk. We are not responsible for circumvention of any privacy settings or security measures contained on the Website.

We retain your information for as long as needed: (i) to conduct business with you; (ii) as needed for the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy; and (iii) as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce any agreements.

Right to Know

California residents have the right to be informed of the categories and specific pieces of personal information collected about them, including sensitive personal information, collected, used, and disclosed, the categories of sources from which that information is collected, whether that information is sold or shared, the categories of third parties to whom that information has been disclosed, the business or commercial purposes for collecting and using each category of personal information, and the intended retention period for each category of personal information.

Right to Limit Use and Disclosure of Sensitive Personal Information

We do not collect or process sensitive personal information for the purpose of inferring characteristics about consumers. We also do not disclose sensitive personal information for purposes other than those specified in section 7027(m) of the CCPA regulations promulgated by the California Privacy Protection Agency. Therefore, we do not offer consumers the option to limit the use of their sensitive personal information.

Right to Opt Out of Sharing for Cross-Context Behavioral Advertising

In the past twelve months we have used data about your activities on our online properties to serve you ads on online properties owned or controlled by third parties. In the past twelve months, we have provided the following categories of information to affiliates, advertising networks, data analytics providers, social media platforms, customer management relationship platforms, tag management systems, video hosting and sharing platforms, and web mapping platforms for this purpose:

• Personal identifiers, such as unique personal identifier, online identifier, internet protocol address, device information and identifiers, and unique advertising identifiers and cookies; Internet and other electronic network activity information; geolocation information; characteristics of protected classifications under California or federal law; professional or employment-related information; commercial information; and inference information.

While we do not sell personal information in exchange for monetary consideration, we do share personal information for other benefits that could be deemed a “sale,” as defined by the CCPA. The CCPA broadly defines “sale” in a way that may include activities such as the delivery of targeted advertising on websites or allowing third parties to receive certain information, such as cookies, IP address, and/or browsing behavior.

In the past twelve months, we have provided the following categories of information to affiliates, advertising networks, data analytics providers, social media platforms, customer management relationship platforms, tag management systems, video hosting and sharing platforms, and web mapping platforms in ways that could be considered a “sale” under California law:

• Personal identifiers, such as unique personal identifier, online identifier, internet protocol address, device information and identifiers, and unique advertising identifiers and cookies; Internet and other electronic network activity information; geolocation information; characteristics of protected classifications under California or federal law; professional or employment-related information; commercial information; and inference information.

We disclosed these categories of information to these third parties in order to market and advertise our products and services; perform analytics; and to maintain, improve, upgrade, or enhance our products or services.

We have no actual knowledge of selling the personal information or the sensitive personal information or minors under 16 years of age.

California residents have the right to opt out of the “sale” of their personal or sensitive personal information.

Requesters will need to provide us with personal information in order to verify their identity and residency, including name, email, and state of residence. We will compare the information you provide with our internal records. The personal information that we use to verify identity and residency will not be used for any other purpose.

You may authorize an agent to submit a request on your behalf if you provide the authorized agent with written permission signed by you. CPU Sales may require you to verify your identity directly with us and confirm that you provided the authorized agent with permission to submit a request on your behalf.
